TERMS OF PURCHASE/SERVICE
The terms stated below apply to all products purchased on smartchicken.com. For issues regarding other Smart Chicken products, please contact retailer directly. For general inquiries/comments about our products, please contact our customer service team.
Payments for purchases made on Smart Chicken’s website: smartchicken.com will be accepted through Shopify Payments, third-party services or other payment methods, such as: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Product is not shipped until payment is confirmed.
RETURN AND REFUND INFORMATION
RETURN: We do not accept returns for food products.
REFUND: We do not offer refunds for products purchased, unless they arrive damaged. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you prefer to receive a refund instead of a replacement of your damaged product. At this time we are unable to issue a refund for any other reason. To request a refund, provide us with your order number, damaged product item description, condition of damaged product upon arrival, date and time package was received, as well as include a photo of the damaged product. We will not be able to offer a refund if you contact us more than 30 days after your purchase.
Refunds will be processed via the same method the product was purchased and can take 10 business days to process. Processing time for the refund varies by financial institution. If your refund is not reflected in your account after a week of being told your account has been refunded, contact your financial institution.
Prices and delivery costs for online purchases on the Site are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders of which the purchaser has already been sent an order confirmation.
Payment transactions are subject to validation checks by your card issuer and we are not responsible if your card issuer declines to authorize payment for any reason. Please note, it is possible that your card issuer may charge you an online handling or processing fee. We are not responsible for any fees added by your credit card issuer. You have the right to dispute any changes with your bank or credit card issuer. If you suspect or suspected fraudulent use of your card, please contact your financial institution or credit card issuer. If you believe there are duplicate charges on your card, please contact us immediately at: email@example.com for assistance. If we receive a chargeback or reversal of payment from your bank or credit card issuer, we will consider your complaint with us over payment settled and close the inquiry. We reserve the right to contest credit card chargebacks as permitted under the rules of the credit card issuer or bank.
All matters relating to access or use of the Site, including all disputes, will be governed by the laws of the United States and by the laws of the State of Nebraska.
